The HTML elements “Strong” and “Emphasis” are used when coding, but are for the developers benefit.
The element “Strong” is used to indicate importance of the words that are being displayed. For example, in the below video, we used the “Strong” element with the word Caution. The programmer wanted to indicate in the code that displaying Caution in bold letters was important to let the customers know if they chose the current option, that their computer will restart. From the developer side, looking at the code, they will see this is important, but from the customer side, they will see the letters as bold. Again, this element is more for the benefit of the programmer.
The element “Emphasis” is used to change the meaning of sentence. Just like the element “Strong”, the programmer will use this code in sentences to change the meaning, but from the customer side, it will look the same as italic.
Please view the below video for a demonstration of this elements.
