Episode 6: Line Breaks & Horizontal Rules

Line Breaks and Horizontal Rule Lines are commonly used in web design.  A line break defers the text to the next line.  For an example, when you use the paragraph code, the text will continue across the screen and then when it reaches the end, it will go to the next line.  If you want the text to continue on the next line prior to reaching the end of the line, use the line break code.

The horizontal rule line is used to divide sections of a webpage.  For an example, you could use the horizontal rule line between the header and the body or if you were creating a web page based on recipes, you could use it between “Grandma’s Chocolate Chip Cookies” and “Old Fashion Pancakes”.  To view the code and a demonstration, please see the below video. – “Stay Techie”
