Today we have Episode 9 in the HTML Series called “Abbreviations & Acronyms”. When you code your website, most likely in the text you’ll have an abbreviation or acronym and there is a chance when a user views the site, they will not know what that abbreviation or acronym stands for. To educate the user and to ensure they understand, there is a simple code that developers use. When coding you can add these HTML element’s and when the cursor is placed over the word, the abbreviation or acronym will be displayed. This is a simple code that should be utilized when necessary.
